In 1925, Giovanni Gervasoni acquired a local wickerworks near Udine, and the family has steered the business ever since. Today his grandsons, Giovanni and Michele are at the helm.

Since the late 1990s, designer Paola Navone has guided the brand’s creative direction, taking it well beyond woven cane into ceramics, metal, timber and generous upholstery. Her slipcovered Ghost sofa and glazed InOut tables are now Gervasoni icons, sitting alongside designs by Michael Sodeau and others.
